As I peak out the window, I see snow falling again. It will only last for a few minutes, as winter is not quite ready to let go for the year. I am seeing stinging nettle and cleavers popping their heads in my garden. The dead nettle is one of my favorites too. It usually shows up in May in my area.
These plants don't grow in our (small) backyard in NE Florida, but I definitely have allergies. So what do you do with these after gathering them? Make it into a tea? Thanks!
I wonder if you have any other type of nettle available. I do make a tea with them! Sometimes I add some local honey to enhance the edge against allergies 🤧

Thanks for sharing. I never knew the name of purple dead nettle but it’s everywhere. How do you specifically use it?
