I just recently posted about slowing down in Bible reading and why a Bible reading plan might not be the best thing to do for the New Year. So, I'd definitely say slowing down is a good thing.
I know it doesn’t work for me either. I get discouraged when I don’t meet a goal. Plus in my rush, I couldn’t hear Him. By slowing down and journaling the Bible came alive 🙌
