40 Days of Health & Healing
Week 3: Healing Through Obedience, Prayer, and Trust
A Gentle Beginning
As we move into this third week, the focus gently shifts.
We’ve remembered who God is.
We’ve noticed how near He comes.
Now we begin to see how healing often unfolds—not always instantly, but through obedience, prayer, and trust.
Scripture shows us again and again that healing is not mechanical. It is relational. Sometimes Jesus heals immediately. Sometimes He asks someone to move, wash, believe, or wait. Always, He invites participation—not striving, but response.
This week invites us to notice how faith is lived out quietly, step by step.
This Week’s Scriptures & Reflections
Move through these days at your own pace. There is no catching up—only showing up.
Day 13 — John 9:6–7
“When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.”
Reflection Prompt:
The man had to act before he could see. Where might God be inviting you to take a small step of obedience before clarity comes?
